Applied
Behavior Analysis
Richmond & Hampton Roads
About
Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy is a comprehensive and preventative child health program available to families of children with demonstrated clinical need.
Purpose
Behavioral specialists seek to connect families to and work collaboratively with community providers and resources. A large part of the program includes training families to successfully manage clinically designed behavioral modification strategies. Upon successful completion, families will have developed a stronger support system, and the child will have achieved adequate stabilization of the challenging behavior.
Who Is Eligible?
Children under the age of 21 who require services related to “developmental delays and/or health conditions which if left untreated, would lead to significant long-term impairments in adaptive functioning.” This is different from INTENSIVE IN-HOME which treats children with behavioral issues not always related to more severe cognitive impairment and social-communicative
challenges. We accept major insurances and Medicaid.
