Ryan Anderson, a licensed professional counselor from Richmond, Virginia, brings 16 years of experience as a community-based counselor and outpatient therapist. He is thrilled to be joining the Civitas team and is passionate about helping individuals and families improve their well-being by reducing distress and discomfort. Ryan’s dedication to his profession stems from his desire to help people become the best versions of themselves, both individually and within their family systems.

In addition to his professional life, Ryan is married and a proud father of two children, ages 8 and 3, who keep him active and energized. Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, fishing, watching movies, and coaching football with the 6-time state champions Highland Springs High School. His well-rounded interests reflect his commitment to both personal and professional growth.
